2022 Contribution and Benefit Limits Announced by the IRS

Here are the 2022 contribution limit adjustments for retirement plans!




As far as Self-Directed Solo 401(k)s go, the salary deferral limit has increased but the catch-up contribution remains the same for 2022. They are $20,500 and $6,500, respectively. The combined limit to include the profit-sharing contribution, however, has increased to $61,000, or $67,500 if you're 50 or older.
